This is an exciting time for women as society is beginning to embrace something photographers have known for decades: you do NOT need to have a certain body type to look beautiful.

Here’s the truth: being a model is a job. There are schedules and bookings, and if you’re a Victoria’s Secret model, you’re going to do it all scantily clad, all while looking amazing. Can you imagine that kind of pressure?

Well I am here to tell you that you do not need to have a body like a model for boudoir photography when you book a session with our Northwestern Indiana/Chicago Boudoir photography studio.

The truth is that for women of every shape and size, loving yourself is also a job, and I’m asking you to think about is; when was the last time you showed up to work?

There are so many books these days telling you ‘wash your face,’ ‘stop apologizing,’ and a million other trendy sayings which are meant to feel inspiring. Here’s the real deal: self-care comes from within. It’s about unabashedly embracing all of your journey and every crease or wrinkle or blemish your story has left on your body.
