Boudoir photography is a form of professional photography that is intimate, classy, and sultry in nature, it dates back to the 1940’s and has been gaining popularity at a great speed since then. It is a great way for women to feel beautiful or as a gift from to significant other. Boudoir photography can be done tastefully with or without nudity. 

The word boudoir is French for “bedroom.” Boudoir photography has its roots in the Victorian era. During this time, boudoirs were ornately decorated bedrooms used by women to rest before or after social events. It was also a place where they could receive guests away from the company of men who might not be allowed into their chambers otherwise.

Most boudoir sessions are done in a photography studio or at the client’s personal residence. My sessions are done in my Indiana Boudoir Photography Studio located in Crown Point, Indiana. Are you a Chicago gal? No worries, we are only 45 minutes from downtown.
