5 Questions to Ask Your Photographer Before You Take Sexy Boudoir Pictures

The prospect of taking part in a sexy boudoir photography session can be daunting, particularly if you’re a newcomer, and it is perfectly normal to be scared to death. You can ease some of your anxiety by chatting with the person behind the camera. Here are a few inquiries you might want to make during your conversation with the photographer.

What should I wear?

One of the wonderful aspects of sensual boudoir photography is the freedom it offers in terms of attire. Whether you’re interested in fully nude boudoir images, partially clothed ones, refined boudoir shots, or lingerie-focused snaps, the choice is entirely yours. Feel free to bring your outfits and we will provide a lingerie guide once your slot is secured. We always advise bringing more options than necessary, and we can help select the most suitable ones once you arrive. Our clients consistently feel well prepared and thoroughly informed about what to bring prior to their boudoir shoot. Additionally, we maintain a collection of lingerie that our clients can borrow if their own selections aren’t quite right! Also be sure to ask the photographer how many outfits your session includes. Our sessions include 4 outfits.

Will you help me with posing and facial expressions?

This is your first time participating in an intimate boudoir photo session, and you’re uncertain about the ideal poses. There’s no need to worry! We’ll be there for you throughout the process. With our experience of photographing more than 700 women, we’ll guide you in perfecting every pose and facial expression from top to bottom of your body. Our expertise lies in boudoir photography, so you can confidently rely on us to make this a great experience.

Do I have to share my images on your website and social media?

Our website is filled with enticing boudoir images, and they had to originate from somewhere. All of the clients you see in social media and on our website have signed a legal document giving us permission to share their beautiful boudoir images.Here at Boudoir by Janet Lynn, we will ask each individual client if they want to share their images after their image reveal. Our privacy and safety is our top concern.

When will I get my photos?

After the shoot, you’re not going to receive your boudoir pictures right away; you will return to the boudoir studio about 7 to 10 days after your session to view your sexy boudoir photos. After editing your images I will text you to set up a time for you to return to the studio to view your sexy boudoir pictures. If you’re coming from far away, we will accommodate you and schedule a Zoom session to view your images!

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

All of our full luxury boudoir sessions include hair and makeup services artists. All of the amazing artists are licensed and have been working with me for many years. Whether you want to go totally bold and daring or just enhanced natural, our artist will give you the look you want. When you arrive, please be sure to tell the artist what kind of look you want. If you not sure, leave it to our hair and makeup artist pros! Just simply tell them the color of your outfits, and whether you want to go full on glam, or just stay with an enhanced natural look.
