How a photo shoot gave me the strength that I definitely needed

Strength and power, something I needed and didn’t know I had in me. After becoming a widow at 36 years old with teenage twins, I was left lost. Felt I didn’t have what it took to do this alone. On a whim I entered a contest Janet had where she needed models, to my surprise I was chosen. I can honestly say one of the best experiences of my life. The powerful picture she did with the shirt “ I intend to survive” gave me the strength I desperately needed. I seen myself in a way I never had before. I seen a strong woman who was a force to be reckoned with. My self esteem has soared, I’m now a confident single mother who is going places and rocking the life I’ve been handed. Janet changed my life, forever grateful for the opportunity she gave me. I am beautiful, strong, and empowered!
