Meagan Talks about her Boudoir Experience

Why did you want to have a boudoir session Done?

I have wanted to do a shoot for about 15 years now! I followed Janet’s FB group for several years and the confidence she made women feel after a single shoot was something I wanted to experience for ME!!! I finally chose to do a shoot for Myself but also as a gift to my husband for our anniversary! He absolutely LOVED my photos!!!

Why did you choose Boudoir by Janet Lynn? After following Janet for several years I could see without a doubt she is fully invested in her clients!! She is uplifting in every aspect! She tells you what to wear, what not to do right before a session, makes sure you’re comfortable! The images she shares and her ratings and reviews are proof of that!

What were you nervous about going into your session? I’m Extremely self-conscious of my body and my own self-image! After birthing 3 kids, I am most certainly not as thin as I’d like to be. I was so worried that because I’m not a size 2 with a flat stomach my pictures weren’t going to turn out as beautiful and flawless as all the other women’s images! I was absolutely wrong!!! I saw myself through a whole new set of eyes! I have never felt more beautiful than when I left Janet’s studio for the first time!

What was your favorite part of the experience? Oh gosh, there are several! The fact that Janet made me feel so comfortable from the start of my session has to be #1 for me! I was so nervous and she made me feel relaxed immediately! We talked, we laughed, she complimented me throughout my shoot! She 100% guides you through the entire experience from outfits to posing! The BEST part though was my reveal!!! I have never seen myself as more beautiful than I did when I saw my images for the first time! I would’ve never thought I could be that sexy in a photo until I met Janet!!

How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session? Absolutely empowered!! I finally feel beautiful and confident which is something I’ve struggled with my whole life!! This is absolutely something that I will forever encourage EVERY woman I know to do at least once in her life!!!

Did you take advantage of the payment plans? I did not, actually, I snagged a Black Friday sale which was a great price for retainer fee!! I paid for my images in full which I didn’t at All mind doing! I feel a Boudoir shoot is an investment that’s worth having for a lifetime what would you tell other people who are wanting to do a session but are afraid? DO IT!!! It is beyond worth stepping out of your comfort zone! I am that woman who literally made Every single excuse to Janet on why I wasn’t ready yet! If you wait until you have the money, or until you lose weight, or you have “time” you will never do it!!! Step out of that shell and let Janet show you how beautiful you really are and have always been!!

Would you recommend Boudoir by janet Lynn to others? 1000% YES!!!! I have been in Janet’s studio 5 times now and will never go to anybody else!! Not only does she continue to give me the confidence I’ve lacked my entire life, she’s an amazing woman to just sit and have a conversation with!
